Product description
Dried tree nut belonging to the species Juglans regia L., harvested mechanically and/or manually from its fresh state. The pericarp removed by mechanical process, washed, dried at 32°C in continuous or static tunnel, calibrated, selected, brushed, inspected, manually shelled, packaged in modified atmosphere (CO2/N2) in polyethylene bags, passed through metal detector and stored.

Packaging system
Packaged in modified atmosphere (CO2/N2) in high density polyethylene (0.6μm) bags each of net weight 5kg. Two bags of 5kg are packed in a corrugated cardboard box totaling a net weight of 10kg per box.
Recommended storage and distribution
Dry conditions (moisture <70%) and a temperature between 10°C - 15°C.
